My before and during… it’s not really progress, but it’s where I’m at now. I am a 19 year old college student in the USA. I’m trying to get fit for a few reasons. First, I’ve always hated my body. Ever since I started growing from my tall, skinny 6th grader body to an overweight, short girl, I’ve hated the changes. Also, I’m getting married in 2014 and I would LOVE to have a rockin’ body for my honey. ;)
I’m 5’3”, I’m a huge foodie (no pun intended), I love fashion and style, and I am currently 170 pounds.
Finally, my lifestyle: I have ADHD and Major (clinical) Depression, Social Anxiety Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Seasonal Affective Disorder, and I’m seeing two therapists and on several medications. Because of all that, my body is weak and I am sick a lot. But when I can get out of bed, I try to work out 6 days a week; usually I use the elliptical (I have really bad joints), lift dumbells, spin, and/or crunches/abs and lunges/squats. I used to be on a low-carb diet until I lost about 10 pounds, and now I’m just on a reduced calorie plan. I use MyFitnessPal on my android phone to keep track of it all and I usually net about 900-1000 calories after I work out.
